Life with a 7 year old and a 6 month old.

I have always loved taking photos of Haylie, but taking photos of both my beautiful children just melts my heart! While I was pregnant with Clayton, I worried and prayed about the age gap between my two children. I was afraid that once the "newness" wore off, that Haylie would loose interest in her little brother. God answered my prayers above and beyond my expectations. These two clearly adore each other. Clayton's face lights up when his sister is around and Haylie showers Clayton with endless love. I'm thrilled that I get the privilege to watch these two grow.

Wait for it.........

Awwwww I got her!!!

Don't worry mom, I will hold her down.

Whoohooo I'm seven now!

This is Clayton's typical look....He always has a frown on his face like he's deeply contemplating the meaning of life.

You talk'n to me?

Enjoying Life!

Clayton can do a mean plank!

Mom pitched me in the grass so she could change sprinklers.

What a great big sister.

She's been bagging to cut her beautiful long hair. :(  I admit she's rock'n the short hair.

Putting Hawkeye to work

Trying a cereal for the first time. It didn't taste to good but it sure is fun to play in.

Boating with friends. Gracie and her mom (Jen) are tubing
Look at that cute shipmate.
Two thumbs up for Gracie
Clayton loves Miss. Maggie
Best babysitter EVER!
All the other kids kept trying to get me to dump them.

They were both making motor noises

Part Two of Haylie's Birthday

We asked Haylie if she wanted a birthday party or if she wanted to go to Triple Play and invite a friend. She chose a day at Triple Play and invited her friend Maggie. They had a blast and were thoroughly worn out by the days end.

Love the fact that both my children will sleep practically anywhere

This is a flashback of Haylie. The picture of Clayton reminded me of this one.

We had so much fun with these two. Thanks Maggie for going with us, you're such a sweet girl.
