In October, Haylie went with Grandma Sue, Grandpa Dale, and Great Grandpa to Jordan Montana for their annual Antelope hunting trip. They camp and hunt on Bob and Jane's ranch. With a little digging and lots of searching you're likely to find a few fossils or even a dinosaur bone. Haylie came home with endless stories and bags full of treasures. Next year I think I will tag along and do some exploring.
They had a lot of beautiful sunsets |
If there is a horse on the property, Haylie will surely find it. Bob and Banjo. |
Antelope |
Looking for fossils |
According to Jane, if its a bone, it will stick to your tongue. I'm not quite sure I'd go around sticking things to my tongue. |
Trying to catch frogs |
Uncle Levi had to help her out. |
Yucky slimy frogs. |
About time they put her to work. |
Digging for bones and fossils with Bob and Jane. Looks like Haylie has something stuck to her tongue again. |
Cool rocks! |
Lucky for this beauty, they were Antelope hunting. |
Hands on anatomy class. You can't get this kind of experience in a class room. |
Haylie said there were bunnies everywhere. |
Petrified wood. |
She never stops. |
I love the hair!! |
That looks like the perfect spot for a nap |
Went to the dinosaur museum. |
I'm pretty sure if she was given permission to ride, her and Banjo would have been riding off into the sunset. |
Elk herd |
A crazy creation. |
