Enjoying spring from the top of a horse.

We are enjoying discovering 2013 spring from atop our horses. Haylie and Hawkeye are quite the team and never cease to amaze me. Recently we went on two rides; one was in a new area that neither of us have been and the second one was at the Fish Trap Poker Ride. Unfortunately, I didn't pack my good camera on either trip.

Wolf Creek trail. 

Playing in the water. Hawkeye loves to paw the water and Haylie thought that was the best thing ever. 

Time to head back to the trail. 

She finally let me be in front for a bit. (not to happy about that)

Best riding partner EVER!!

This is at the Fish Trap Poker ride. I decided it was time to see how she rode in a group of people and this is the best trail for it. Its wide open with a lot of room to get out of the way. 

There was over 365 riders, needless to say we had a long way to ride before we even got to the check in area.

She always wants to be in the front and didn't want me passing her. 

Haylie did so so so good on this ride. Her and Hawkeye received 100's of comments and praises.

It's amazing to me that if you go an hour out side of Spokane, you can get to a  place that looks like high desert.  

Found a nice shade spot for lunch

We had a few riders that were pretty much with us the whole time. 

This is what happens when your mom takes you on a ride for 6 hours in the blazing sun. Passed out in 5 minutes.
