Our new resting place.

Everyone keeps asking for pictures of the nice little 5 acre place we were lucky enough to rent.It made living in a tent for a month worth it. The house has 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, and an unfinished basement that has a wood stove for heat. It also has a detached 2 car garage. My favorite feature of the whole place is the 1 acre of lawn and 4 acres of pasture. We have 5 apple trees, 3 plumb trees, 1 walnut tree, 2 huge maples, and a row of lilac bushes. The whole 5 acres is also fenced to where our dog has free roam of the whole place. Despite the fact that we are right in the middle of town, we feel like we are out of town. All our neighbors to the south of us, have cute little 5+ acre farms. We are thoroughly enjoying our little rental.
Our sweet little home.

The view from the end of the drive.
Looking down the drive. On the left is one of the Maple trees and the Lilacs line the road and block the view.

Garage

The yard is so big I can't capture it in one photo. Haylie's horse tire swing. We also have a  10x14 shed and a barn that looks like a facade from the front and is none usable (in fear it will fall over) but it does provide shad and shelter for the horses.

The lump/hole looking thing is the future site of a fire ring/pit. A previous dirt pile that was never smoothed out before the lawn took over. Our landlord said we could dig it out and turn it into a fire pit.

More yard and a corner of the garage that has a lean too for wood storage.

This is looking East. The houses are where our property stops. It doesn't look very far in this picture but there is quite a bit of land between.

This is facing West.

Back of the house. I love having a cloths line. We do have issues with the in ground sprinkler system (work in progress) but the field irrigation sprinklers do an excellent job of watering the yard.
