'Tis the season to be Merry!

Such a beautiful smile.

Can I pose like this?
Take 1
We don't quite have it all together
Take 2
Getting a little better
Take 90
Ditch the dogs and focus on just getting the horses to stand still
Oh look the dogs are within my reach and holding still.
(Queenie loves to keep the dogs on the move)

Humm... Your master said to stay, I wonder if I can convince you to move.

Uh Oh, I better behave or no cookies for me.

These "bloopers" crack me up.

Haylie insisted on a picture of just her and Hawkeye. Can you see Tom's finger telling him to "stay" like hes a dog  I can just see Hawkeye rolling his eyes.

Good boy.

Oops forgot to tell the dog he wasn't in on this one.

He insisted on being in the picture.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
We pray God will bless your new year and provide all your needs.
Love the Wurtz

On the hunt for the PERFECT Christmas tree...

Yes honey, I want that branch at the top with the pine cone.

Ohhh watch out for the snow...hehehe

Lucy is patiently waiting for us

I know the reason why Haylie and Lucy have become such best friends.. Both have a free, fun spirit.

Where's your sled Haylie?

When you forgot the sled, use your back.

Cow Elk watching us

She was a looonnnggg way off

I love the trees and clouds

Always on the look out for wild life.

Sure do love this ray of sunshine.

More pretty trees

Happy dog

Can you see the green valley? I love seeing the transitions between green and snow.

Cow or Spike? Tom says spike, I say cow.

Haylie's little tree.

Helping Dad cut her tree down.

Timber!!

And more Elk.

Her bed doesn't look very warm or flat.

We went back for the first tree we saw.

A very Special Gift

If you have been keeping track of my blog or my past facebook account, you should know or have heard of our very dear and extremely talented family friend, Karen Platner. Karen designs and sews children apparel.  Her signature pieces are her exquisite hand smocked dresses. Karen has 3 beautiful granddaughters that get to reap her talents. Upon spotting a picture of the very cute custom made wool coats she created for her granddaughters, I knew Haylie had to have one for her wardrobe. Haylie is now a proud owner of an adorable swing dress coat. The coat is TOTALLY Haylie. Words alone can't express our gratitude.

*** If you would like to see more or order an item please check out Karen's blog; http://karen-robynseggblue.blogspot.com/

It passes the "swing" test

"Oh mom!" (the dress she is wearing was also created by Karen)

She loved running and having it flying up behind her.

Pictures are done, Snowball fight!! (she just clobbered Tom with a snowball)

Here it comes Daddy!

Now its mom's turn.
(please excuse the focus, I was running backwards  trying to take pictures and avoid snowballs.)
