Randomness

I take pictures with my phone and then forget to share them. Though they are not the same quality as my actual camera, they still capture fun and loving moments in our busy lives. Enjoy!

Clayton's first time on a horse.

Haylie's first time on a mule

Happy Boy!

Sibling love

Addison loves her cousin. 3 months 3 weeks apart

Addie loved touching Clayton.

My snugly man

She's finally old enough to be put to work. :) She's learning to drive and dragging the field.

Losing more teeth. A week later the other front tooth fell out.

Out enjoying the fresh air.
Awwww this is the life.

Headed home from Boise with two worn out kiddos.

All boys love kisses from mommy, right?

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter Everyone! The Lord has risen, the sun was shinning, surrounded by family, and I thoroughly enjoyed every little moment in the day. We started the day off worshiping who this day truly belongs too. Did a little egg hunt with Haylie. Visited with family and got a chance to take some adorable pictures of the kiddo's. Last but not least, stuffed our face with some very yummy food. I wanted to share not only the pictures, but also my favorite song that we sang in church. We hope you all had a wonderful Easter.

"My Redeemer Lives"
I know he rescued my soul
His blood has covered my sin
I believe
My shame He's taken away
My pain is healed in his name
I believe
I'll raise a banner
'Cause my Lord has conquered the grave
My Redeemer Lives
I know He's rescued my soul
His blood has covered my sin
I believe
My shame He's taken away
My pain is healed in His Name
I believe
I'll raise a banner
'Cause My Lord has conquered the grave
You Lift my burdens
I'll rise with You
I'm dancing on this mountain top to see your kingdom come
My Redeemer Lives

Grandma Mel and Mr. Clayton

My sweet baby boy

Found one

I sure do love this ball of sunshine!

She got a kite in her Easter basket and I swear she ran over a hundred laps around the field trying to get it to fly.

I made a few laps around trying to help her, but it took daddy pointing out that we put it together wrong. After that it was a cinch to fly.

Haylie has been bagging for an umbrella. I finally asked her why she wanted one so bad, she says, "So when it's raining outside I don't have to stay indoors." (duh mom) This girl sure does love being outside.

My cup runneth over.

What cute cousins! Can't wait to get pictures off all the cousins in August.

Grandma Tina bought the girls matching dresses. Too Cute!

When I look at this picture I see my daughter being a little instigator and already trying to get her cousin, Addison, into trouble...."Look Addie, pull Uncle Dan's hair." :)

That's better. Uncle Dan with his nieces and nephew.

To bad dad had to work till dinner. He missed out on all the picture taken fun.

First quilt ever!

Finally, I have finished Haylie's and Clayton's room! Since they have to share a room, a total revamp on the colors was necessary to try to incorporate both a "boy/girl" look. One of Haylie's favorite colors is purple. Since their room was already painted a soft blue, I decided to pair purple and blue together. I looked and looked for two quilts that matched in pattern one with blues and one with a little purple in it. No such luck, unless I was willing to spend $500 for a twin quilt. If you can't buy it, then the next best thing is to make it. Or maybe that should be the other way around. Anyways, with a lot of encouragement from my mom and a ton of help from a dear friend, I took on the massive project of making the quilts myself. I love sewing, but I have NEVER attempted a sewing project like that of making a quilt. I'm more for the 1 hour projects. I have new found respect for the ladies that whip out these quilts like its nothing. Four months later Haylie's twin size quilt is finally done!! Now I need to get started on Clayton's, so its ready when he moves to a big kids bed. (yes it just may take me that long.) The whole room was a group project. My dad made the headboards, Taran made the H, and my mom made Haylie's pillow case and throw pillows. I LOVE how it all turned out.

I made a small duvet cover for his crib. His future quilt will look the same. Essentially the same as Haylie's but with none of the purple fabric.

So bright and cheerful.

Boise Weekend Getaway

Tom now drills in Boise once a month and I have been saying I would make the trip down one weekend with him. Once Clayton was born, I had the perfect excuse to tag along, Uncle Dan needed to meet his new little nephew. My favorite thing about Boise, is all the delicious restaurants we get to try. The best part, Daniel knows which ones are top notch. We also toured the State Capital building. What a beautiful building! Last but not least, we stopped for a short visit with my Great Aunt Maddie Sue.....I'm a little mad at myself, I didn't get a picture of Clayton and Daniel together. I guess I will have to wait till Easter, when he's up for a visit. All in all it was a wonderful weekend just getting out of the house.

A statue of George Washington carved out of wood.

Can anyone tell me what the pattern is on the floor?

She's so goofy!

Ground level looking up.

Just love the architectural work

Haylie loved it too......Have you guessed what the pattern is? Yep that's right its a sun dial. The point at Haylies left shoulder is pointing true south. This lower pattern matches the one upstairs.

This was the only picture I could get with Clayton not screaming his head off. He was worn out from all the traveling.

Grandma & Grandpa Wurtz meet Clayton

As usual I am late posting pictures. Tom and Tina were able to make a short trip out here to meet Clayton in February. My two children couldn't be more spoiled with such wonderful grandparents.
What a good looking family!  (From the left: Tina, Clayton, Haylie, Tom and Addison)

The Wurtz Visit in October

I just realized when I went to post their visit in February, that I never posted the pictures from when they were here in October to see their new grand daughter Addison. Here are a few photos from Tom and Tina's visit. We love getting to spend time with these two!

Tom and his dad enjoying a beer together.

Tom and Haylie took Grandpa fishing. It was a beautiful day to catch some sun rays, but no luck catching any fish.

Bummer No fish!
Tom took his dad for a day hunt and to see if they could hear a bull bugle.
